
Nate has been active in FSU ASCE chapter for about 3 years, with his main focus being the Concrete Canoe Team. Last year he served as the Mix Design Lead and this year was his first year serving as the Canoe Captain for Beak of the Abyss. Nate is preparing to enter his senior year, planning to graduate with a B.S.E.T in Civil Engineering Technology, B.S. in Mathematics, and an A.S. in Occupational Safety.

Luke, a graduated senior was active in FSU ASCE Student Chapter for 3 years. During his time at FSU, he served as a co-captain for the first FSU Steel Bridge in almost 20 years, and he also served as captain for the first ever FSU Sustainable Solutions team. Luke graduated this May with a B.S.E.T. in Civil Engineering Technology and plans to return to Fairmont to earn a Masters of Business Administration.

John has been active in ASCE for 4 years, serving as the student chapter president for 2 years. He has served as the co-captain for Fairmonts UESI Surveying team and for the Concrete Canoe team. In addition to pursuing an A.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems, John is a dual major in Civil Engineering and Surveying.

Tabitha has served as the ASCE Faculty advisor for Fairmont State for 10 years, overseeing 15+ student competitions, many being regional winners. She also currently serves as the West Virginia ASCE Section President and leads the development of West Virginia’s ASCE Infrastructure Report Card. Tabitha graduated from Fairmont’s Civil Engineering program in 2011 and went on to New Jersey Institute of Technology to earn a Masters degree in Construction Management.
