[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The University of South Alabama ASCE Student Chapter was founded in 1988.\u00a0 Since then, the chapter has been focused on assisting in the development of tomorrow\u2019s civil engineers. This is achieved this by developing professional relationships with industry leaders, promoting opportunities in the professional world and connecting students with employers, and encouraging students to become lifelong learners by promoting the benefits of remaining active ASCE members after graduation. Additionally, the chapter is committed to enhancing the relationships between students and faculty within the college by hosting service and social events, and works to provide the best experience to the members by participating in ASCE conferences and symposia.<\/p>\n
