NJIT’s ASCE Student Chapter has provided civil engineering students with the opportunity to network directly with industry leaders and through social events which effectively stimulate conversation and relationship building amongst peers. NJIT’s ASCE gives student officers the experience to mold skills as leaders of a professional society through conferences and presentations, and all members are provided valuable experience through events such as site visits. NJIT’s ASCE offers learning of diverse disciplines with the purpose of guiding and preparing students for a successful transition to the workforce. NJIT’s ASCE student chapter adds value to the CEE department by creating a community of civil engineering students that engage at local and national levels.
