About the Host

Kansas State University was founded in 1863 and is now home to 20,000 students. The Civil Engineering department at Kansas State was established almost 80 years later in 1936. Today, the Civil department consists of approximately 250 students! Our ASCE and AISC student chapters are among the most popular student organizations within the department averaging approximately 30 students each meeting.
