Iowa State University was founded in 1858 and is now home to 30,000 students. The Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department (CCEE) at Iowa State was established almost 40 years later in 1898. Today, the CCEE department consists of approximately 1,000 students! Our ASCE and AISC student chapters are among the most popular student organizations within the department averaging approximately 30 students each meeting.<\/p>\n
