Business Meeting:      March 30th from 9:00pm – 10:00pm; UTC ECS Building, Auditorium 201

This meeting is for the Student Conference Board of Delegates. The Board of Delegates consists of two student delegates (preferably a senior or junior in an ASCE leadership position and a sophomore in or aspiring to ASCE leadership position) and the faculty advisor from each student chapter.

Each student delegate must be a member in good standing with their student chapter and the Society. Each student chapter in the Student Conference has one vote. At least one member of your ASCE student chapter must participate. See Agenda in the Program.

 

Service Project, Waterways, April 1st, 8:30am – 11:00pm, leaving from the Chattanooga Convention Center

Participants will work to improve Reads Creek bank stability with sustainable and natural stream repair practices, clean up litter, and also remove invasive plant species along the creek and new Walden’s Ridge Mountain Bike Park with the non-profit waterways.

Please bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, rain boots (for stream repair work), hiking boots or shoes for trail work, water, and sunscreen! Gloves will be provided, but please bring them and any helpful tools if you have them! Some waders and boots may be available – in limited quantities. Dress appropriately for the weather.  Transportation to and from the site will be available for participating students.

Olympic style field day competition.  Where students will be competing in various high energy stationed activities representing their university to earn points towards winning the event.  This is followed by major activities that will be cheered on by your surrounding peers.

 

Mystery Event: April 1st, 9:00am – 12:00pm, UTC, Library Front Entrance,

3 – 4 participants per university.  We hope you “Marble” at the design of this wild ride.

 

Banquet/Awards Ceremony: April 1st, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Chattanooga Convention Center

Dress attire is business semi-formal! Some examples of appropriate dress: dress shirt, dress pants, suit jacket/blazer; pantsuit, jumpsuit, or dress.
