Mailers are packets containing important information that will be sent to all participating student chapters. Mailers will be sent directly via email while also being uploaded below:

Important Deadlines

2024 Deadlines

  • October 25th– Mailer 1 released
  • October 30th – Mailer 1 Confirmation Receipt Due
  • November 1st by 5:00pm, Eastern – State of Intent due for all Society Competitions
  • November 1st by 5:00pm, Eastern –
    • Concrete Canoe Research & Development Schedule and RFQ Prequalification Form due
  • November 30th – Chapter Registration Due

2025 Deadlines

  • January 6th by 5:00pm, Eastern
  • January 15th – Mailer 2 released
  • January 30th – Mailer 2 receipt confirmation due
  • February 1st by 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time – 
    • ASCE Student Chapter Annual Reports are due by 11:59 pm EST to ASCE. (More
      information on Annual Reports can be found here. If you have questions on your Annual
      Report, email [email protected]). Submitting the ASCE Student Chapter Annual Report
      is an eligibility requirement to compete at the Student Symposia Competitions and to
      advance to Society-wide Competition Finals. See the eligibility requirements for details.
  • February 1st by 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time –
    • ASCE Student Chapter annual dues must be paid, as received by ASCE, no later than
      11:59 p.m. EST. Paying ASCE Student Chapter annual dues is an eligibility requirement to
      compete at the Student Symposia Competitions and to advance to Society-wide
      Competition Finals. See the eligibility requirements for details.
  • February 3th: Construction Institute Team Form Due (link will be sent from ASCE to team captains)
  • February 13th: Attendee registration due
  • February 13th:
    • Concrete Canoe Project Proposal, Mix Design Sheets, & Materials Notebook due.
      (Upload to respective folder link provided by ASCE)
  • February 24th by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time:
    • Surveying Competition Topographic Mapping Project Plans due by 5:00 pm EST
      (Unique and secure link to be provided to each team from ASCE)
  • February 28th –
    • Timber-Strong Design Build Phase Two Project deliverables are due.
      (Unique and secure link to be provided to each team from ASCE)
  • March 1st: Student Symposium Paper Competition submission
  • March 17th: Mailer 3 sent out
  • March 17th: – Sustainable Solutions Deliverables due for:
    • Technical Design Proposal, Envision Checklist and
      Criteria Justification, Public Outreach Poster, and Sketchup files
      (Unique and secure link to be provided to each team from ASCE)
  • March 31st: Mailer 3 receipt confirmation due
  • April 10 – 12: ASCE Upstate New York-Canada Student Symposium
