T-Shirt

Overview

The T-Shirt Competition allows schools to highlight their creativity and school spirit. Traditionally the T-Shirts have been worn on Saturday for the canoe races.

Objective

The T-Shirt should incorporate the theme of the 2023 ASCE Southeast Student Symposium.

Eligibility 

Each attending school is allowed to enter one (1) T-Shirt in the competition. There is no limit to the number of students that may be involved in the design of the T-Shirt. However, the captain and speaker must be undergraduate students.

Execution 

• T-shirts can be any size or style
• Your school’s name and theme must be displayed on the shirt

Judging Logistics 

All teams will be given up to 5 minutes to present their T-Shirt design to judges.

Judging Criteria

Shirts will be awarded points by the following criteria: 

Category	Points
Display of School’s Name	20 points
Originality	20 points
Artistic Quality and Aesthetics	20 points
Communication of Theme	20 points
Design Presentation	20 points
Final Score	100 points (max)

Disqualification 

Teams may be disqualified by the judges for not following the above listed rules.
