In a busy city with progressive transportation development and several possibilities for diminishing traffic congestion, how can you promote alternative modes of transport while optimizing flow? The 2022 Transportation Project analyzes the South Natomas Crossing area’s network of roads with those goals at the forefront. Teams will design an efficient system for the area that benefits cars, bikes, and other modes of travel, paying close attention to the existing system and surrounding geography. Understanding the cost and environmental effects are critical as well. We are looking forward to all the creative plans presented by the teams!
